Ishtara Rosa is the founder of Way of the Rose Temple and the Way of the Rose Priestess lineage (2017) and founded Rose Kriya™ in 2026 drawing from both experience leading temple space, as well as from her own personal lifelong path. Ishtara is a born clairvoyant and medium, now in her fifties living quietly in the countryside. She is certified as a Kundalini Yoga teacher, Himalayan Kriya Yoga teacher, Pranayama coach, High Priestess, Reiki Master, amongst other modalities; as well as the author of 'Mary Magdalene Way of the Rose' (2017), 'The Rose Sutras' (2025) channel of Rose Reiki as well as other reiki rays including the White Herkimer Diamond Ray, Light of Lemuria Reiki, the Lazari Ray, the Six Star Attunement Ray and the Pleiadian Tachyon Reiki Ray, and has extensive experience as a mystic running a mystery school temple as a Keeper of the Sacred Rites where she has initiated priestesses all over the world.

Early Years​

Born clairvoyant and medium in the early 1970s, I eventually set fully on the path with my first Reiki initiation in 1993 after a spiritual awakening that brought in channelled writings. This opened up private practise and study of various spiritual methods (alongside a BA degree in European Literature and Philosophy and a fashion & theatre career) such as 2 years study of Shiatsu, Brofman's mind body system, Energy Healing, Visualisation and journeying, study of mystery schools, Past Life regression, meditation in various traditions (when I first came across kriya) and initial extensive yogic practise for 8 years of Kriyas from Kundalini Yoga Yogi Bhajan lineage via Amrit Nam Sarovar with teacher certification in 2012/13.

 

I wrote and published my first book Manifest Sacred Birth in 2008 (later revised in 2023 as Sacred Birth Power Mantras).

​Way of the Rose Temple

​

I met my guide and dear friend who initiated me as a Magdalene Priestess and then later as a High Priestess after several years in the temple trainings. Whilst working on a fashion collection in 2017, I had an unexpected and strong calling to launch Way of the Rose and hold Rose Temple space guiding and transmitting the Magdalene Priestess and Goddess initiation paths.

My fashion career went to the side as Way of the Rose took momentum. It was during this next 8 year rose immersion holding temple that my spiritual evolution took a huge leap whilst guiding people through priestess temple. I also held various groups such as Way of the Rose, Cathars of the Light (ceremonial calls over the course of a year in the Cathar year of the prophecy 2021), as well as sharing various containers and short courses with attunements, activations and light transmissions working with different spiritual guides. I also channeled several reiki healing rays, including the more popular Rose Reiki in 2018 and Light of Lemuria Reiki amongst others.

During this time I was (re) initiated in the Light by an Elder as a Keeper of the Sacred Rites.  My second book 'Mary Magdalene Way of the Rose' was published in 2019, followed later by 'The Rose Sutras' written in 2024-2025.

Rose Kriya and Way of the Feather

​

'The Way of the Feather' came through in November 2024 when channelling the Herkimer Diamond Ray whilst holding a year-long Aphrodite Temple and writing the book The Rose Sutras. Unexpectedly out of the blue, various Divine Masculine beings appeared in order to hold the feminine as she deepened in her inner wisdoms and beauty in this temple year, and they included some powerful Elders from the Americas as well as Babaji, Krishna and the appearance of Vishnu in varied aspects. 

 

I simultaneously went through some intensive personal initiations in my life after the Aphrodite Temple completed, bringing a period of powerful dreamtime experiences with direct transmissions imparting esoteric knowledge and teachings, some of which were shared in The Rose Sutra book.  The downloads and activations naturally led to return to once again study traditional Kriya, including correspondences with various teachers and scriptures, and revising previously learnt Kundalini Kriyas from certification, with ongoing intensive practise. Some of the traditional Kriyas mirrored the ones received in meditation, and there were also additional Kriyas and methods that came through direct in dreamtime that I cannot find anywhere else as far as I am aware. During this time as well as the night time downloads, I had miraculous fortune to meet online with an (anonymous) swami in India and committed to sitting daily with him for intensive practise.​

Rose Kriya

Initially this was my own private personal practise and there was no wish to share or teach, but the calling to share both these transmissions and also traditional Kriya became very loud and clear, and it was also clear that it was to be called Rose Kriya.  ​It did not make much sense since I was leading Priestess Temples and focused on that work, but the calling was clear to put temples aside to focus on rose kriya. I was also actually reticent since I knew it sounded very new age and would challenge many people, and even went against some of my own beliefs, but in meditation the call was loud and clear and I strongly believe that this is the calling of Babaji.​ I thus surrendered to this spiritual calling, aware that this particular flame will be shared with those who are meant to receive it, and for the timespan it is meant to be. Be it many or just a very few, all in divine flow.

 

The focus is to spread the light of the teachings to light workers, to anchor this light into the grids at this enormous time of the prophecy for the rising of mass consciousness, to reclaim & restore the temples and teachings including the Goddesses and their chalices from the corruptions and inversions, and to ensure that in the restoration of the sacred, that they are not demonised further or tarnished by the same brush, but are restored and remain as sacred.

 

The intention here is both the reclamation and the restoration of the temple.

​And so it is, as a beautiful and very sacred full circle, to now be able to bring the intuitive way of the rose and kriya practices together in a new way for new times with this offering sharing the rose with kriya, blessed by indigenous elders, Babaji, Krishna and Vishnu amongst many beautiful feminine guides as an initiatory rite of the way of the Goddess.​​​​​​​
